The Diploma of Aesthetic Medicine program provides individuals a comprehensive and well-rounded education in the field of aesthetic medicine. The program will help you acquire both basic and advanced level knowledge of aesthetic medicine fundamentals and treatment options in neuromodulators, dermal filler injectables, micro needling and platelet rich plasma.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Diploma of Aesthetic Medicine.
 
            Students will learn the basics of aesthetic medicine and applications of aesthetic medicine in a primary care setting. The course will also educate students on how to approach patients who are seeking aesthetic treatments, and how to identify and assess facial concerns.
Students will get to focus on the basic principles of skincare, skin treatments & procedures. Students will learn how to assess each patients concerns and determine the appropriate treatments needed to achieve patients desired results.
This course will focus on giving students an in-depth understanding of the facial anatomy and its importance, and how it will help practitioners administer injections in a safe and precise manner. There will also be a detailed focus on understanding the musculature of the face and neck, an important practice in aesthetic medicine.
This course will teach the basics of Botox injectables, techniques for administration, dilution ratios, landmarking, facial anatomy, musculature, and cosmetic injectables best practices.
This course will teach the basics of dermal filler injectables, techniques for administration, guidelines, facial anatomy, landmarking, cosmetic injectables best practices and safety guidelines.
This course will cover the history of Botox and dermal fillers, cosmetic and non- cosmetic uses of Botox, various botulinum toxin and dermal filler brands available in the market, and precautions to follow while administering injectables. Students will also learn the proper approach of administering injections, skin target points, facial symmetry, and possible complications of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
This course will introduce students to the uses and techniques of micro needling in aesthetic medicine. Students will learn treatment techniques with a micro needling device, post treatment protocols, side-effects and contraindications, aftercare, and health & safety tips.
This course will introduce students to the properties of platelet rich plasma (PRP), the various uses for PRP on the skin for anti-aging as well as the scalp for hair loss. Techniques involved in various treatment, how PRP should be applied based on patient concerns, post treatment protocols, side-effects and contraindications as well as aftercare and health & safety tips.
Students will go through hands-on training sessions with our aesthetic trainers, by using actual products on live models. These workshops will help students gain experience in injecting patient models with Botox, dermal fillers, micro needling & platelet rich plasma.
 
            Our Botox training course is available to licensed healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and dentists. Participants must be in good standing with their respective regulatory bodies, such as the CPSO, CNO, or RCDSO. Dentists may administer Botox only within their scope of practice, primarily for therapeutic or dental-related cosmetic procedures. All prospective trainees must provide proof of licensure.
MD Treatment Lounge serves solely as a clinical training site, where medical professionals provide hands-on training. The program itself is offered by Osler Education.
